WHAT WE DO

"A Heart for Hope and Community"

​

Hope In The Streets exists to bring hope, dignity, and the love of Christ to individuals experiencing homelessness and families living in low-income motel communities throughout the Richmond and Petersburg areas.

​

Each month, we serve more than 500 hot meals and distribute essential supplies, including hygiene items, groceries, and clothing. These tangible resources meet immediate needs while creating opportunities for meaningful relationships and long-term support.

​

Beyond meeting physical needs, we are deeply committed to community and discipleship. We host a bi-weekly men’s group that gathers 35–40 men from churches across the region. Through fellowship, accountability, and faith-centered discussion, participants encourage one another and grow together in their walk with Christ.

At Hope In The Streets, service and spiritual growth go hand in hand. Everything we do is rooted in compassion, relationship, and the belief that lasting change happens when people are seen, valued, and loved.​
